Youth sports cannot be run without a cooperative effort from parent volunteers. Swimming is no exception!

The swim meets cannot be run effectively without the help and cooperation of all parents. Parents are expected to volunteer during our dual meets, plus Championships and Conferences.

Most importantly, in order to meet the requirements of the New Jersey Swimming and Diving Conference, there must be

  • at least 2 timers in every lane

  • 7 Certified Officials to implement the rules

  • Volunteers to work at the scoring table that understand how to determine the official order of finish and calculate the score

Please consider becoming a Certified Official with the NJSDC!! This is the best view of the swim meet and it is a great opportunity to learn and implement the rules. Please fill in this Google Form if you are interested in attending a clinic.

The clinics will be in-person this year and I will be hosting one in town. If you attended one of the clinics last year, please note that the NJSDC Officials Certification is a one year certification and must be renewed each year.

If you are a YMCA and/or USA Official, you do not need to attend a clinic, but please use this Google Form to upload your credentials for the league.
